May, 2012
| 07 May | Trickycoding 2012 is now offically live. Check out my camera bag under photography. You will also find the Kenya story there, but its not finished. The technology section is a bit blank right now but all good websites are constantly under construction right? |
| 06 May | As nice as the Visual Studio 11 beta is, I use 2010 every day so I thought I should recreate the site and try to use MVC 3. I installed MVC 3 onto my dev box and all was going well until I finished recreating the site and it didn't work! The next step was to just install the MVC 4 beta and try again. There is no doubt that this is a learning process but I've done it! The next step is to actually publish the new site onto my server... |

April, 2012
| 29 Apr | I've been battling with MVC but I now have a somewhat crude set of maintenance screens for adding news and articles. The first article will be about my trip to Kenya in 2010. |
| 21 Apr | Its the weekend again so I've got time to work on the site. It is coming along nicely. I can't wait to publish it. Well, that's once I've figured out how I'm going to run it on my 2008 R2 server. |
| 15 Apr | I am working on a new MVC based version of the site. Once I've replicated the current site's functionality I will switch over. Did I mention I'm using the Visual Studio 11 beta? |
| 01 Apr | No April's Fools here. After buying the 24-105, I thought it was about time I micro adjusted my lenses. On my 50d, that lens only needed +1 but the macro needed +12, my 50mm1.4 +10 and the 10-22 need +4. It will be interesting to see if I notice any real world improvement in sharpness. |

March, 2012
| 28 Mar | To finish of March there are two final photo sets: The first is a set taken in Cliveden, a National Trust property and substantial grounds near Slough in Berkshire at the weekend and lastly a few test shots using my new L lens, the 24-105 F4. Check them all out in Photography.. |
| 19 Mar | No work on the site to report I'm afraid. I needed to do some extra work at home over the weekend but we did get out for a stroll on Sunday. Check out the latest photoset in the photography section. |
| 11 Mar | Apart from a couple of hours spent outside topping up my vitamin D, I finally got the database working and have moved all this news over. No more manual HTML editing when I want to post! |
| 02 Mar | Another walk around RHS Wisley - check out the latest gallery in the Photography section! |
| 01 Mar | At the start of this month the Canon 5D Mark 3 was finally anounced. This is the first camera to have the same exposure system as the top camera - in this case the 61 Point AF system from the 1Dx. |

February, 2012
| 01 Feb | I have uploaded a summary of photos from January and February onto my Flickr site. |
January, 2012
| 02 Jan | Enough is enough. I've added some slide shows on the photography page. I've been to Hythe in Kent and RHS Wisley in Surrey. |
| 01 Jan | I have abandoned the LightRoom generated slideshow idea as the Flash based controls didn't work properly on all browsers and the HTML based templates just weren't very good. |

December, 2011
| 01 Dec | I've spent too much time working, photographing, playing games and generally living life to spend anytime on this website. |
